World book day was fab by Abigail

I absolutely loved World book day and think everyone else did too. I think everyone tried really hard with their costumes and we all looked fabuulous.I had loads of fun today!

Heracles the Hero by Abigail

Thousands of years ago, there was a little baby with an extraordinary talent. Heracles was his name and his dad was Zeus! Hera, Heracles step-mum didn’t like Heracles.So she put two serpents in his cot. Unbelievably,he strangled the two immense reptiles with his own bare hands!

As he grew older, he was getting taller and taller and stronger and stronger. By the time he was nine he was the hight of a fully grown man!

Heracles got married and had children. Hera still didn’t like him. Driven by rage, Heracles killed his own family! Then he was made to do twelve tasks, extremely hard tasks.

Heracles was more than a God he was a Hero!
